Job Summary
Analyze construction plans and specifications while coordinating project personnel activities and monitoring subcontractors. Manage administrative tasks including expense reports, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and validating vendor billing against purchase orders. Prepare reports, studies, and statistical analysis to assist with scheduling, manpower projections, and job cost accuracy. Research field change requests, update as-built documents, and ensure job setup and city registration compliance. Assist with permits, submittal review, and project billings. Must obtain OSHA-30 certification within six months. Requires 2 to 4-year degree in construction technology or electrical engineering, 0-2 years experience, and up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4-year degree in construction technology, electrical engineering, or construction science (or equivalent technical training and experience)
- 0-2 years of construction or general business experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn new software systems
- Must obtain OSHA-30 certification within six months of hire
- Courteous, professional, diplomatic, and highly motivated
- Stable employment history
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background and reference check
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Possession of reliable transportation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Up to 25% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Bluebeam and Accubid is a plus
