Job Summary
The Assistant Educator provides care for infants through preschool aged children, fostering a safe, nurturing environment and supporting activities to meet children’s physical, intellectual, social, cultural, creative and emotional needs. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety with constant supervision, supporting the Early Learning Center’s services to about 68 learners aged 6 weeks to 5 years, and collaborating with the ECE team. Required fingerprinting verification through Maine and strong teamwork/communication skills are noted, with 1 year of ECE experience preferred. Schedule is Day shift with 0 hours weekly, at MaineGeneral Health locations in Augusta, ME. MaineGeneral participates in E-Verify and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Required Qualifications
- Fingerprinting verification through the State of Maine is required
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
- At least 1 year of Early Childhood Education experience preferred
