Job Summary
Ingest deliveries, communicate missing footage or discrepancies to the production team, and create/transcode media for editorial turnovers. Track approvals, cut versions, and outputs while maintaining high Quality Control standards for technical and security specifications. Collaborate with the editorial team to manage unconventional production assets, including experimental AI generations and prompt-based versioning, ensuring compliance with strict data protocols. Ensure edit tools function properly and report issues to technical directors. This role supports a fast-paced, experimental animation production process using GenAI-native pipelines within Inkubator.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience on a Feature or Episodic editorial team
- ideally for Animation
- 2+ years experience with AVID Media Composer or DaVinci Resolve
- High tolerance for ambiguity and rapid iteration
- proven ability to maintain composure and pivot quickly when production workflows or experimental tools shift
- Strong knowledge of project organization and archival workflows
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software for video and audio format conversion and compression
- Strong understanding of video and audio file formats and metadata
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment & deliver and accept feedback
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Flix, Media Encoder, and After Effects outputs
- Knowledge of AI tools, Cursor and other agents, and workflows
