Job Summary
Research, write, and edit news articles, feature stories, whitepapers, and media interviews covering Metro Rail, High-Speed Rail, RRTS, and urban mobility sectors. Publish daily news content on the portal and produce at least one featured editorial monthly. Coordinate with designers to finalize magazine layouts and allocate space for text and graphics while verifying all facts, data, and sources before publication. Conduct interviews with industry leaders and government officials, manage "Call for Papers," and support the sales team with promotional creatives. Review and proofread all material to ensure accuracy, grammar, and consistency, and promote the brand through social media and industry events. Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field required; CTC range ₹2.4–₹3.6 LPA based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field
- Prior experience in writing, editing, or proofreading
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and editorial style
- Creative mindset with curiosity and interest in a wide range of topics
- Ability to generate compelling story ideas and attention-grabbing headlines
- Strong editorial judgment to assess ethics, relevance, and evidence in stories
- Ability to rewrite and simplify content for better reader understanding
- Detail-oriented with strong fact-checking and quality-control skills
- Ability to guide and collaborate with writers, designers, and internal teams
