Job Summary
Secure and fuel vessels, collect monies for rentals and fuel, and process over 150 daily transactions using the Point of Sale system. Complete daily sales reports, deposit funds, and manage office accounting. Assist guests with boat operations, equipment failures, and towing arrangements while directing proper securing and fueling procedures. Perform dock maintenance, repair water leaks, empty garbage daily, and operate VHF marine radio. Record reservations for transient and long-term renters, oversee fishing equipment rentals, and police parking decals. Assist the Marina Manager and Dockmaster with daily operations and paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in a position dealing with the public
- Some knowledge of a marina or boating operation
- Two years experience in a marina operation
