Job Summary
Arrange substitute worker scheduling and transport food products daily across district buildings. Monitor HACCP processes, record temperatures, and reconcile daily tray counts against cashier reports. Input invoices and participation data into remote systems, update inventory spreadsheets, and consolidate weekly food orders with prime vendors. Train and certify kitchen staff, oversee cleanliness of storage areas, and assist in coordinating catering events. Demonstrate Opaa!'s Core Values of integrity and hospitality while ensuring compliance with recipes, menus, and Department of Elementary and Secondary Education requirements. Prepare monthly status reports for the Board of Education and assist in implementing the marketing program.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- six months to one year of related experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, commons fractions and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to exert over 60 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 25 pounds
