Job Summary
Assistant Division Supervisor will manage assigned civil utility construction projects from start-up to completion, coordinating with client representatives and internal teams, reviewing scopes and work requests, participating in scheduling and planning with client leads, coordinating permits/locates/GPR, conducting site visits, supervising field crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety and OSHA compliance, providing field presence on remote projects, and supporting the Division Supervisor with status updates and coordination. The role emphasizes growth into broader supervisory responsibilities and potential advancement into senior leadership, with heavy local travel and a full-time salary in the $100k–$130k range.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, either in the field (e.g., foreman) or in a project management/coordinator role
- Previous experience with utility, civil, or industrial construction projects
- Must have previous experience managing self-performing crews & subcontractor oversight
- OSHA 10 certification required (can be obtained after hire)
- Valid Drivers License - CDL-A would be a plus but not required
- Comfortable with significant field presence and year-round outdoor work, including winter conditions
