Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations for six or more seasonal retail locations and kiosks, working with the District Manager to maximize efficiency, increase revenue, and ensure adherence to company standards including office setup, technology, and facilities maintenance. Lead recruiting efforts, interview seasonal employees, and drive tax education processes while monitoring P&L performance, discount reports, and productivity metrics to meet assigned district goals. Monitor employee performance, partner with HR on training and complaints, resolve client issues, and provide guidance on complex problems. This full-time seasonal role begins September 1, 2026, and ends April 25, 2027, with possible year-round progression. Requires an associate degree or equivalent management experience, two years of supervisory leadership, and proficiency in computer software.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent related business experience
- Course of study in management or in tax preparation and/or accounting
- 2 years previous management or supervisory experience
- Passion for leading and inspiring others
- Reliable transportation
- Insurance
- Driver's license in good standing
- Ability to sustain energy and remain available to subordinates during season including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced working environment
Desired Qualifications
- Tax knowledge
- Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications such as electronic mail, internet browser, online time-tracking, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge in accounting or tax preparation software
