Reports to the District Communications Coordinator with dotted-line to the District Superintendent; in-person at Liberal USD480 District Office with occasional evening or weekend hours to support events.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field
  • One year of experience in internal or organizational communications
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, employee-friendly language
  • Experience managing web or intranet content
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Previous experience with managing multiple priorities, remaining flexible, and working effectively under deadlines
