Job Summary
Oversee daily center operations alongside the Center Director while ensuring compliance with Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety regulations. Recruit, interview, onboard, and coach teachers and support staff, conducting classroom observations to support teacher development. Assist with staffing and scheduling, implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, and build strong relationships with families through tours and enrollment support. Foster a collaborative culture focused on teamwork and educational excellence while supporting community outreach and local marketing initiatives. Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with a competitive salary of $45,000–$48,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education program
- Strong knowledge of Michigan childcare licensing requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience coaching and mentoring teaching teams
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
