Job Summary
Assistant Director at The Goddard School in Riverton, UT. Oversees daily operations and supports the Director to ensure high-quality education and care. Responsibilities include managing staff recruitment, training, development and supervision; assisting with Curriculum and Program Development for the Wonder of Learning program; fostering Family and Community Engagement; conducting safety drills and ensuring licensing compliance; and maintaining a secure environment through health and safety practices. Requires an Associate's Degree in ECE/related field and at least 3 years of early childhood teaching experience; strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; and the ability to lead and collaborate with staff, families, and the community.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education
- Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership and classroom management
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- A genuine love for children and commitment to providing high-quality education
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
