Job Summary
Advise all Long Island campus clubs and Fraternity and Sorority Life at both New York campuses, developing officer trainings, expansion processes, and succession plans while administering accreditation, budgeting, and event management. Support campus event staffing and day-of operations, lead Student Life projects including marketing, social media, and programming, and supervise the Student Life Coordinator. Oversee student recreation programs using campus partners and local resources across both campuses. Collaborate with the Associate Director, Assistant Dean, and Dean of Students on assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Masters degree in Higher Education Administration, College Student Personnel, Student Affairs or other closely related field
- Significant experience leading in areas related to student leadership development, student involvement, or related fields
- Knowledge of student affairs
- Knowledge of student programming and leadership development
- Knowledge of working in a complex organizational culture
- Knowledge of working with a diverse student population
- Ability to lead initiatives in an independent manner
