Assistant Director Security & Safety

Job Summary
Assist with the direction and management of Security & Safety Services for events, coordinating VIP/dignitary visits, selling special event security to meeting planners, liaising with government agencies and security teams, monitoring vendors and ensuring a safe environment for employees and guests. Develop loss prevention/safety programs, oversee budgeting and cost controls, and supervise training and staffing for Security Service agents and badge checkers to meet customer and location needs. Ensure compliance with NFPA regulations and OSHA standards and maintain program effectiveness through data analysis and management reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years Safety and Security Administration experience OR equivalent
- Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
- CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Must be registered in accordance with state law (timeframe/requirements vary by state)
