Job Summary
Assist the Director in managing the daily programmatic operations of a 10-bed adolescent residential facility, supervising a team of Youth Development Counselors and Residential Life Supervisors. Lead trauma-informed care initiatives using the Sanctuary Model, oversee incident reporting and crisis response, and collaborate with Social Services, Health Services, Kitchen, Facilities, and on-site school teams. Direct overnight coverage and on-call responsibilities, support program service plan reviews, staff development, and training (including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention), and participate in coordination with administrative partners to ensure safe, therapeutic environments and successful program outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years working with adolescent youth (preferred minimum)
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience within child welfare / residential setting
- Valid Driver's License
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
- Ability to complete state mandated crisis intervention training
- Ability to perform physical restraint of a resident (state mandated)
- Ability to complete state mandated medication administration training
- Flexibility for evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday hours
- Commitment to trauma-informed, strength-based youth and family development approach
- Experience coordinating with multiple teams (Social Services, Health Services, Facilities, School teams)
- Experience leading staff trainings (e.g., Therapeutic Crisis Intervention)
- Experience with program planning and incident reporting
