Job Summary
The Assistant Director, Programs, Case Management supervises Clinical Coordinators and Housing Specialists, ensuring effective service delivery for street homelessness interventions. Responsibilities include supporting case management efforts, providing clinical direction, and collaborating with external stakeholders. Candidates must have a NYS Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) and at least two years of supervisory experience. Proficiency in crisis intervention, a strong understanding of service delivery concepts, and the ability to manage staff and stakeholder communications are essential.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) required
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Thorough clinical understanding of relevant service delivery concepts
- Experience with crisis intervention, including risk assessments
- Ability to work successfully with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to delegate and motivate staff to achieve deliverables
- Ability to communicate with diverse populations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Valid NY, NJ, CT, or PA driver’s license with a good driving record is preferred
