Job Summary
Manage the daily operation of the school in the Director's absence while ensuring adherence to local, state, and national health, safety, and care regulations. Provide superior customer service to external and internal stakeholders and assist with management responsibilities to maximize enrollment and control costs. Maintain the physical environment as safe and attractive, enforce employment laws, and deliver consistent behavioral expectations to children. Perform essential functions including serving as a teacher, food service teacher, or bus driver as needed. Attend all staff meetings and workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet requirements of local child care regulatory agency and Primrose School of Bear Creek
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
Desired Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field, and/or at least two years' work experience in a licensed child care facility, kindergarten or early childhood program preferred
- Experience in management, business, and/or public relations preferred
