Job Summary
Assistant Director Preschool responsible for ensuring the center complies with California Title 22 and related licensing regulations, overseeing daily operations and staff development, coordinating curriculum with staff, hiring and training, managing parent communication, scheduling, and maintaining safety and compliance. Must lead center operations, supervise teaching staff, ensure appropriate staffing and ratios, conduct classroom observations and evaluations, uphold brand standards, mentor staff, and liaise with families and state licensors to maintain regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required, along with experience in early childhood education, licensing requirements, and facility safety. This role includes managing payroll-related processes, budgeting considerations, vendor relationships, and ensuring health, safety, and regulatory standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
- Must meet state specific guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude and work ethic
- Background Check
