Job Summary
Lead all aspects of Placement operations for Out of Home Care (OOHC), including oversight of administrative processes and facilitation of interdepartmental collaboration. Ensure regular high-level staffings to maintain placement stability, quality, and alignment with best practices, accreditation standards, and agency policies; drive budget-related activities, utilization management, and data-tracking tools to monitor cost of care and placement moves. Coordinate with the Senior Director of OHC, case management teams, licensing/re-licensing units, and foster parents; participate in MDT staffings, court hearings, and community presentations; approve or review over-capacity waiver processes and board-rate payouts; support ICPC/OTI home studies and timely documentation; promote services and appropriate supports for youth in licensed care; supervise and develop staff, ensure 24/7 availability on rotating basis, and manage relationship with providers and accounting to ensure accurate payments and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field from accredited institution with a minimum of four years’ experience in child welfare, behavioral health or related field
- Master’s degree in human services or related field and two years experience in child welfare or human services is preferred
- Certification as Child Protection Professional preferred
- Current Background Clearance Screening Letter
- Valid Florida driver’s license and insurable by agency’s current insurance carrier
