Job Summary
Lead experiential education operations and oversee student placement systems for the Office of Experiential Education at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Pharmacy. Direct data, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives; manage budgets and projects; build and maintain strategic partnerships with experiential sites to support high-quality placement opportunities; ensure alignment with academic goals and accreditation standards; support the transition from academic-work to practice experiences for pharmacy students through coordinated placements. Requires university degree in educational leadership/administration (MBA or Health Administration asset), and at least 5 years of educational leadership/administration experience; strong leadership, strategic planning, change management, and stakeholder-management skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to work with faculty, staff, students, and external partners. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of educational leadership administration experience, including management experience within an academic unit
- Experience working in an education setting or healthcare/clinical environment
- Knowledge of program support and developing administrative/business processes
- Experience planning, managing and implementing projects
- Experience meeting the needs of students, employers, and industry partners in a post-secondary environment
- Experience articulating a vision and formulating plans to achieve an integrated service model
- Experience managing staff in a unionized environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work with faculty, staff, students and other stakeholders
