Job Summary
Counsel prospective applicants about the admission process and conduct appointments primarily in-person, by phone, or electronically. Plan and implement recruitment activities for assigned territories to maximize enrollment interests while collaborating with enrollment leadership, marketing, and academic stakeholders. Analyze prospective student applications using probability-to-succeed research to assist with admission decision-making and execute recruiting tactics to move candidates through the enrollment pipeline. Evaluate applications and conduct outreach to students, parents, and school counselors when additional information is needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of enrollment management, student recruitment and admissions, and higher education
- Skill in counseling, presentation, written and verbal communication
- Skill in multi-tasking, project management, prioritization, and organization
- Ability to learn state and federal laws and ethical principles of practice as outlined by the national association of college admissions counselors
- Ability to use technology, including system applications and platforms, to document, track, and support department operations
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
