Job Summary
Provides leadership, supervision and training to onsite social service staff; serves as liaison between participants and the Assistant Executive Director; supports day-to-day operations and program goals for Muhlenberg Residence; oversees job development/vocational components, rental and maintenance coordination, and compliance with funder, regulatory and LSSNY requirements; conducts staff supervision and development, participant intake, case conferences, and preparation of monthly reports for funding sources; ensures confidentiality, promotes equity and social justice; on-call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week; supervises interns and collaborates with the Assistant Executive Director on HR matters and program operations; role emphasizes leadership, administrative oversight, and engagement with residents and community resources; bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Master Social Worker
- Two years (minimum) experience as a supervisor in the field of social services
- Experience working with people with histories of substance abuse, HIV, homelessness and mental illness
