Job Summary
Assistant Director of the McDonogh Fund will develop and execute the annual giving strategy and goals in collaboration with the Senior Director of Annual Programs. Responsibilities include overseeing McDonogh Fund operations, planning and executing donor recognition events, writing stewardship pieces showing impact, developing giving challenges with the fund team, managing volunteer committees, overseeing the Almost Alumni program with the Digital Gift Officer, managing a portfolio of (<50) annual fund prospects, assisting with annual report of giving planning, and serving as a frontline fundraiser. Requires a college degree and 3-5 years of fundraising experience; strong planning, donor relations, project coordination, and communications skills; proficient with Zoom, Slack, Asana, fundraising databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred), and Microsoft/Google tools. Evening/weekend hours and ability to handle multiple priorities are noted.
