Job Summary
Strategic leadership of Birmingham City Council's Temporary Accommodation Service, ensuring sufficient safe and suitable accommodation to meet statutory homelessness duties; oversee large-scale operational services, budgets, and external funding; drive procurement, commissioning, and contract management for high-quality accommodation and support; supervise tenancy sustainment and pathways into settled housing; lead transformation programmes, service redesign, and digital improvements; build partnerships with housing providers, contractors, government bodies and stakeholders; act as senior ambassador for the service and represent the Council at forums.
Required Qualifications
- Significant senior leadership experience within housing, homelessness or a related public sector
