Job Summary
Assistant Director of Sales at M Social Sunnyvale responsibilities include supporting the hotel’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth, focusing on Business Transient (BT) accounts, developing corporate relationships, negotiating rate agreements, managing RFP opportunities, and collaborating with Revenue Management. The role leads and mentors the sales team, builds client relationships in corporate and business travel segments, conducts outside sales calls and client presentations, and contributes to achieving departmental revenue and market share objectives. Requires leadership experience in hotel sales, excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and willingness to travel locally. Education includes a high school diploma required and a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Salary range is $105,000–$110,000. Location is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Leadership experience in hotel sales or related hospitality environment
- Experience managing negotiated accounts and responding to RFP opportunities
- Strong knowledge of Business Transient (BT) sales and corporate account management
- Delphi or similar hotel sales systems
- Knowledge of the Silicon Valley market and key demand generators preferred
- Ability to travel locally to industry events and client sites
