Assistant Director of Sales

Job Summary
Lead and execute the property's segment sales efforts (group, transient, association, corporate) and contribute to the segment sales strategy to achieve revenue goals, guest/employee satisfaction, and personal booking targets. Collaborate with the sales leader and management team to develop and sustain aggressive solicitation programs, create and implement sales plans for the segment, manage promotions, analyze market information, and drive revenue through effective proposal creation, contract writing, and customer relationships. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, work with off-property sales channels, ensure compliance with regulations, attend events and trade shows, and uphold brand and customer service standards to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area
