Job Summary
Assistant Director of Sales based in Phu Quoc overseeing pricing grids and budget setting with rationale, revenue-management-supported statistics, and market-focused business development. Responsible for identifying trends and marketing opportunities to improve hotel performance, soliciting new business to expand client base (focus on MICE), managing prospecting and account growth, planning and executing sales trips, coordinating with sales teams both onsite and remote (Ho Chi Minh & Hanoi), serving as principal contact with Phu Quoc Tourism and government authorities, maintaining high resort visibility in hospitality circles, representing the resort in industry forums and international initiatives, participating in sales meetings with market insights, supporting Events team opportunities, screening new associates as required, practicing professional account qualification, attending tradeshows and major functions, overseeing online distribution channels and OTA relationships, organizing familiarization for clients, and working with the Director of Sales to maximize and exceed revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity or minimum 3 years of experience in the area of guest services/tele-marketing
- High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of business acumen
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial and accounting reporting systems
