Assistant Director of Residence Life

Job Summary
Provide administrative leadership to ensure residential programming contributes to a productive living-learning environment. Supervise personnel by conducting weekly one-on-one meetings and annual evaluations of Area Coordinators, while indirectly managing student staff including Graduate Assistants and Resident Assistants. Lead the development of a comprehensive Residential Curriculum model, gather data to assess effectiveness, and oversee budget allocations for hall programming. Collaborate with campus units such as University Police and Student Health Services to deliver essential services, and serve as an appellate conduct officer for student cases. Maintain programming records, coordinate student staff stipends, and assist with projects for camps and conference services. Rotate on-call duty Saturday and Sunday as part of full-time Monday through Friday hours.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in higher education administration/counseling or related field
- Two years of previous housing, apartment/residence hall experience
- Satisfactory criminal background and sex offender check
- Full Time employment
- Monday – Friday work schedule
- Rotating on-call duty Saturday and Sunday
