Job Summary
Assistant Director of Rehab supports the Area Director of Operations and Director of Rehab to ensure efficient operation of the facility rehab department; serves as liaison between Functional Pathways, the facility, and rehab staff; coordinates and integrates care; requires a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and active state licensure; two years clinical experience preferred with geriatric care and management experience preferred; strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to supervise and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license in Physical Therapy
- Completion of required screenings and licensure as per state/national boards
- Two years of clinical experience preferred, geriatric care experience preferred
- Management/leadership experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Documentation accuracy and timeliness
- Ongoing professional development/continuing education
