Job Summary
Guide a 35-person division maintaining 245 lane miles of city streets. Lead infrastructure projects and build strong teams to solve complex challenges. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Requires a bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, plus seven years of relevant experience and four years of supervisory experience. Must hold a valid driver's license and pass Class A or B CDL exams with a tanker endorsement. Required Qualifications
- A High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A bachelor's degree from an institution of higher learning accredited by the U.S. Department Education through one of its regional accrediting agencies
- The primary focus of education must be in Public Administration, Construction Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering or a closely related field
- Seven (7) years of experience in one or more of these fields may be substituted as determined by the Department Director
- Four (4) years of supervisory experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position
- A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam
- Must pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within six (6) months of start date
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri as issued by the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers
