Job Summary
Assistant Director of Online Marketing, UNLV Senior Vice Provost - Marketing and Communications, leads integrated marketing campaigns to drive recruitment, admission, enrollment, and retention for UNLV Online programs. Oversees multichannel campaigns (paid digital advertising, email journeys, website coordination, print collateral, direct mail), ensures branding and accessibility standards, collaborates with UNLV Online and Academic Affairs, supports content and creative development in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and uses data to inform campaign performance. Role emphasizes cross-departmental coordination, hands-on execution of high-impact marketing strategies, and strong project management to support online learners; requires a proactive, organized marketing professional with experience across digital and traditional channels. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and experience in enrollment-focused marketing in higher education, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SEO, UX best practices, AP Stylebook, and creative digital content development. Candidates should demonstrate ability to develop compelling digital content, ensure accessibility and branding consistency, and manage multiple initiatives and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, communications, public relations, journalism, English, or a related field from an accredited college or university as recognized by the US Department of Education and/or CHEA, plus 4 years of related professional experience, OR a Master’s degree and 2 years of related professional experience in marketing, public relations, digital advertising, or integrated marketing communications. Credentials must be obtained prior to employment start date.
