Assistant Director of Nursing

Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and nursing department oversight, supervising staffing, assignments, and workflow on assigned units. Provide leadership to RNs, LPNs, and STNAs to ensure competent, compassionate care while overseeing skilled hall management, documentation compliance, and care coordination. Participate in admissions, discharges, and transitions of care, serving as Manager on Duty as scheduled. Oversee infection prevention and control programs, monitor trends, and support regulatory surveys and audits. Conduct new hire interviews, provide second-day PCC training, and coach staff to address performance gaps. Manage NAR program coordination, supply tracking, and QAPI initiatives to promote a respectful, accountable work environment. Step in for the Director of Nursing when needed.
