Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary
Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department while mentoring and training nursing staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Support program development to enhance resident satisfaction and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. Collaborate with leadership to maintain a climate of continuous improvement and resident-centered care. This role requires strong communication skills, experience supervising others, and the ability to work outside regular hours. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in long term care or equivalent
- Comfortable working around animals and pets
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Passion for working with individuals with Alzheimer's and other memory impairments
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Willingness to work outside regular hours based on business needs
- Experience supervising others preferred
- Background check

- Work authorization with both the Social Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security
