Job Summary
Oversee nursing services as Assistant Director of Nursing Services (RN) in a long-term care setting, supervise care-team activities, assist in interviewing and hiring, participate in orientation and in-service education, ensure compliance with regulations and policies, support care planning, conduct rounds to monitor service delivery and hazards, participate in quality improvement, complete chart audits, maintain infection control, and communicate effectively with families, residents, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license by State Board of Nursing (state employed); license must be active, valid, and in good standing
- Experience in the long-term care or geriatric population preferred
- At least three years nursing experience and one year supervisory experience
- Active CPR or ability to obtain within the first 30-days of hire; CPR must remain active and current throughout employment
