Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing RN is responsible for supervising and managing nursing services, ensuring regulatory compliance, recruiting and training staff, and managing the nursing department budget. The role includes collaborating with medical staff for admissions, enhancing staff development programs, and mentoring nursing leaders. Candidates must possess a current RN license, CPR and BLS certifications, have strong management and financial skills, and demonstrate effective communication with diverse audiences. A bachelor's or associate's degree in nursing is required.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license with the state required
- Must be CPR trained and possess a current BLS certification
- Strong management skills
- Good financial and management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Previous nursing and leadership experience of at least three years
- ADON preferred
