Assistant Director of Nursing, RN

Assist in managing the nursing department by interviewing applicants, recommending hires, scheduling staff, and conducting daily rounds to direct care team members and observe hazards. Enforce personnel policies including performance reviews, discipline, and termination while ensuring compliance with physician documentation, regional procedures, and infection control techniques. Participate in orientation, in-service education, care planning, continuous quality improvement, and chart audits to report results and recommend improvements. Follow up daily on units to verify status changes and service delivery. Maintain effective communication with families, residents, and community staff under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services.
