Job Summary
Assist in managing the nursing department by interviewing applicants, recommending staff hires, and scheduling. Conduct daily rounds to direct care team work, observe hazards, and ensure services meet client needs. Participate in orientation, in-service training, and performance reviews while enforcing personnel policies. Ensure compliance with physician documentation, regional policies, and infection control techniques. Follow up daily on unit status changes, complete chart audits, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives. Maintain effective communication with families, residents, and community staff. Requires an active RN license, three years nursing experience, and one year supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license by State Board of Nursing in state employed
- license must be active, valid, and in good standing
- Must have at least three years nursing experience
- one year supervisory experience
- Must hold an active CPR or ability to obtain within the first 30-days of hire
- CPR must remain active and current throughout employment
