Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) in a full-time role overseeing the long-term care nursing services department. Responsible for assisting with planning, development, and direction of the nursing operation, supervising nursing staff, and establishing standards for quality patient care and safety. Participates in annual financial planning, monitoring expenditures, and contributes to Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance initiatives. Requires Georgia RN licensure and at least two years supervisory experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing with education/training in rehabilitative, geriatric, or psycho-social nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Current license as a Registered Nurse from the Georgia State Nursing Board
- At least two years supervisory work experience in a rehabilitative or restorative nursing environment
- Education, training, and/or experience in rehabilitative, geriatric, and/or psycho-social nursing
