Assistant Director of Nursing - RN

Manage the nursing department by maintaining quality standards through consultation with medical staff, department heads, and administrators. Provide input on nursing philosophy, establish departmental goals, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering effective communication strategies across all nursing levels. Promote positive employee relations, customer service, and ongoing staff education and training, exercising direction over the department in the Director's absence. Identify current employees for mentorship toward leadership positions within the corporation. Assist the Director of Nursing in these duties while traveling for regional or corporate meetings. Requires at least two years of nursing supervisory experience and a current RN license.
