Job Summary
Oversee clinical operations, staff development, and compliance with policies and regulations for the nursing department. Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and clinicians while developing and achieving departmental goals. Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff, and collaborate with department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations. Assist in developing and implementing an accurate and effective documentation system. Requires an active RN license, Bachelor's degree, three years of nursing experience, and one year of management experience. Salary range $85,000 - $97,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- A current CPR certification
- A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population
- A minimum of one (1) year of management experience
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility function
- A strong understanding of leading and managing a team
