Job Summary
Conduct internal audits, lead staff inductions, and ensure full compliance with HIQA standards and company policies. Organise communication meetings with clinical staff, build relationships with external agencies, and collaborate with Marketing to enhance the Home's profile. Implement and monitor the Health & Safety Policy, coordinate fire training, maintain hygiene standards, and manage preventative maintenance. Participate in recruitment, conduct training needs analyses, and provide cover for the Director of Nursing when required. This permanent, full-time role in Clare, Ireland requires a Registered Nurse with three years of management experience in older persons' care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- minimum of 3 years' management experience within the last 6 years, specifically in the care of older persons
- Post-registration qualification in management, healthcare, or a related field
- Proven track record in clinical management within a healthcare environment
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and deliver results
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environment
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to meet the evolving needs of the organisation
