Job Summary
Oversee nursing home administration, structure, and activities while serving as the PIC if the Person in Charge is absent. Provide clinical supervision to staff to improve morale and standards, ensuring sufficient staffing for efficient, high-quality care. Establish a supportive environment that prevents abuse and neglect, properly reporting concerns as required. Assist nursing professionals in planning and executing care plans. Work weekends, nights, and days as needed. The role is based in a Co Mayo nursing home and requires a third-level nursing qualification with active NMBI registration and at least two years of nursing home and management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a third-level nursing qualification with active NMBI registration and PIN
- Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a nursing home setting
- Have at least 2 years' management experience
- Hold a post-registration healthcare management qualification or be willing to undertake one
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work weekends, nights, and days as needed
