Job Summary
ADON in a correctional healthcare setting; assists the Director of Nursing with administrative and clinical duties, oversees nursing staff, maintains accurate records (including controlled substances), provides health counseling to inmates, conducts sick calls, assists with intake screening and rounds with PCM Physicians, and ensures compliance with PCM, NCCHC/ACA standards. Requires PA RN license and 1–3 years of management experience; full-time, second or third shift with on-call requirements; benefits package and potential bonuses are included.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years management experience of a medical facility
- Decision making ability required
- Ability to communicate effectively
