Job Summary
Oversees the nursing department operations in a skilled nursing facility and assists in coordinating and managing overall operations in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies. Requires a current RN license and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills. Memory Care unit experience and supervisory capabilities are valued; the role involves collaborating with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits and a supportive team structure.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Leadership/ supervisory experience in long-term care preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
