Job Summary
Support 24/7 oversight of nursing services alongside the Director of Nursing, ensuring resident care plans meet physician orders and regulatory standards. Communicate policies, train staff, monitor clinical practices, and participate in admissions decisions when needed. Attend daily and weekly leadership meetings to discuss resident status and staffing while overseeing competency testing for licensed and unlicensed staff. Lead and maintain the facility's infection control program, monitor key clinical quality indicators, and collaborate with physicians, consultants, therapy, and community partners. Serve as acting Director of Nursing when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri
- 2+ years nursing supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 5+ years long-term care or acute care experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment skills
