Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role in Lantern of Saybrook is a full-time salaried exempt position responsible for management and supervision of the nursing services department, ensuring quality resident care, staffing according to residents' acuity, and compliance with standards. The ADON collaborates with Administrative and Medical Director leadership, develops/implements nursing practices, oversees infection control, maintains regulatory compliance, conducts staff meetings, and directs staff with a focus on delivering optimum health care delivery and staff development in a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Education: LPN or RN; Possession of a current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers CPR certificate is required.
- Experience: minimum of five (3) years general nursing experience, with at least two (1) years in long-term care and supervision, administration, consultation or involvement in the long-term care survey process a plus.
