Job Summary
Direct, plan, and coordinate nursing services activities for professional and auxiliary personnel in rendering resident care. Interpret policies and regulations to ensure compliance while analyzing services to maintain quality of resident care. Provide oversight of resident healthcare needs, including medication delivery systems, and coordinate in-service training for Resident Care Departments. Assist with physical, emotional, and social needs to help residents maintain independence. Support the Resident Services Director in administration and attend to a variety of resident needs. Requires a Registered Nurse licensed in Connecticut with at least one year of assisted living or home care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- Licensed to practice in the state of Connecticut
- Minimum one year experience in assisted living or home care
- Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
- In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to pass background check, drug screening, and reference checks
