Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing responsible for managing nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations; developing or implementing nursing policies and procedures; ensuring accurate medical records and documentation review; coordinating with physicians to provide optimal patient care; overseeing shift management to maintain adequate staffing levels; upholding resident rights and ensuring ethical standards; applying anatomy knowledge to assess patient conditions and treatment plans; maintaining compliance with State, Federal, Joint Commission, and HIPAA regulations; providing expertise in hospice care and acute care services.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license (RN)
- 3-5 years nursing home experience
- in-depth knowledge of medical records management
- proficiency in shift management and scheduling
- experience supervising nursing staff and collaborating with physicians
- familiarity with resident rights and ethical practices
- comprehensive anatomy knowledge for patient assessment
- experience in hospice care and acute care settings
