Job Summary
Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical care, programs, and activities in compliance with the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, state licensing, and federal certification guidelines. Educate staff on survey processes and ensure compliance through daily rounds; train staff on policies, procedures, and long-term care regulations; develop staffing plans and care strategies to meet resident needs and preferences; monitor clinical areas for safety, staff performance, and regulatory compliance; ensure resident needs are met during admissions; collaborate with the Medical Director on quality assurance and staff education; perform on-call duties. Requires an Associate degree in nursing, SC RN license, CPR Certification, 1-3 years of supervisory nursing experience, and advanced computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina
- CPR Certification
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory nursing role
- Advanced computer skills
