Job Summary
RN-licensed Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating nursing services in a 50-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Oversees regulatory compliance with federal/state/local regulations, maintains resident care records, orients and trains nursing staff, and manages the Nursing department within budget. Position involves on-floor leadership with residents and staff, subject to on-call rotation, and occasional overnight travel. Requires good financial and management skills, effective communication with residents and families, and proficiency with Microsoft products.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license with the state
- Ability to manage nursing services within budget
- On-call rotation availability
- Experience in long-term care or post-acute care preferred
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products
- Strong communication and leadership skills
