Job Summary
Assists the Director of Nursing in the management and delivery of nursing services in a Skilled Nursing Facility, including planning, organization, direction, supervision and evaluation of all nursing care; ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and implementation of nursing programs; maintains records and reports on resident care; trains nursing staff; manages the Nursing department within budget; subject to on-call rotation; this is a working manager role with time on the floor with residents and staff; requires good financial and management skills, flexibility in schedule, and occasional overnight travel; must be able to read, write, speak and understand English; computer proficiency with Microsoft products.
